This is a cross country ski week for those new to cross country skiing. Our new holiday is a cross country skiing week with instruction. Learn to cross country ski: progress from being a beginner, and putting on nordic skis for the first time, to touring in the tracks.
This week-long, hotel-based holiday, for intermediate skiers, combines elements of high quality ski coaching with beautiful off track day tours. The tours are carefully chosen to support your skill development during the week and you will visit some beautiful places too! The length of the tours are around 15km and make a good introduction for intermediate skiers who are curious about off track skiing.

Velkommen til en hyggelig nyttårsfeiring der naturopplevelser og fellesskap er det viktigste! Til Venabu er også hunden velkommen. Vi ønsker det nye året velkomment med noe godt i glasset, stjerneskudd og lysshow. Kos deg på langrenn, turski, eller kanskje du heller vil drikke en kopp hjemmelaget kakao foran peisen - alt er mulig på Venabu!
5 dager med fotoglede. Vi tar for oss ett hovedtema hver dag og du vil få oppgaver som skal løses på mange ulike lokaliteter. Vi fokuserer på landskap og natur, lokale bygdetradisjoner, makrofotografering og nærbilder, fjell og vidde, stort og smått, - samt fotografering av portrett. Om ettermiddagen blir det bildegjennomgang av dagens fangst på storskjerm med konstruktive tilbakemeldinger.
Du vil lære å bruke kamera slik at du kan få best mulig utbytte av lyset og motivene. Det blir gjennomgang av teknikk inne og praktisk fotografering ute i fjellet. Du vil lære å se hvordan bevisst bruk av lukkertid, blenderåpning og ISO gir deg bedre kontroll og bedre bilder. Denne helgen vil du også lære om fotografering av mennesker, familier, portretter mm.
