Lakeside sauna

Welcome to Venabu's lakeside sauna!
Located close to Søre Fiskeløysa and the ice-bathing hole, with views of Svartfjell and Bølhøgdene, this is an extraordinary sauna experience.
The sauna can accommodate up to 8 people. Access to shower facilities at the hotel is included in the price.
The sauna can be booked for 90 minutes at 12:00, 14:00, 16:00 or 18:00.

 

The outdoor sauna can be reserved by groups of up to 2-8 people.

Lower age limit: 18 years

Alcohol consumption in and around the sauna is not allowed for safety reasons.

The ice bathing area is right next to the sauna. Never bathe alone and familiarise yourself with the safety rules in advance. All ice bathing is at your own risk!

Ice bathing or dipping is not recommended if you have the following:

• heart or coronary disease
• circulatory problems including Raynauds
• asthma
• if you are feeling unwell, have flu, a cold or feel fatigued.

If you have any other conditions it is recommended that you speak to your doctor before ice bathing or dipping.

Always use a towel on the benches. It is possible to rent towels at the hotel.

 

All use of the sauna and ice bath is at your own risk. Never ice bathe or dip alone, and familiarize yourself with the safety rules before ice bathing.
