This holiday combines exciting, long rides on horseback with the experience of Peer Gynt at Gålå, one of Norway’s premier outdoor events. It will suit experienced riders who have mastered canter.

Monday: Arrival in time for dinner together at 19h. Information meeting with tour guides at 21:00.
Tuesday: 2 hour ride in mountain terrain. There are several tours to choose from and all routes have good opportunities for trotting and galloping. The tour guide will choose the best route for the day based on the weather and the group's wishes and level.
Wednesday: 3 hour trip to Dørjuvet. The trip rides out to the northeast and into the realm of wild reindeer. The terrain is vast and open with heather and moss as far as the eye can see. After a few hours of riding, we arrive at Dørjuvet - a spectacular gorge cut into the plateau. We ride along the gorge and enjoy the amazing views. Pre theatre dinner before departure to Gålå. Peer Gynt performance at Gålå in the afternoon / evening. (Included in the price are tickets and guided bus tour to / from Gålå. Supper is served back at the hotel, after the performance.)
Thursday: enjoy a late breakfast before a full days’ tour with lunch at the summer farm. The trip goes over mountain peaks to our summer farm, Lykkjesetra. The budeia, or ‘farm girl’, welcomes you with a lunch of sour cream porridge, cured meats, sour cream waffles, local berries and storytelling! The ride home is through a quiet birch forest - a perfect end to a great few days on horseback.
Friday: Departure after breakfast.
